A "meme" is a psychological property. Like a virus it seeks to survive by drawing sustenance from other memes that confirm and reinforces its existence, it will replicate itself horizontally and vertically to guarantee it has future sustenance and reinforcement and survival. To tell it to go away or to stop working is a futile nonsense, it will simply mutate and disguise itself under any spotlight. This is why "awareness training" and the like will "always fail to deliver equality of opportunity."

At CAMPBELLCONSENT DIVERSITY our impetus is to work with our clients to create conditions that promote the NEUTRALISATION of memes that LIMIT or INHIBIT equality.

Since employers have no desire or "MEANS" to change the way people "THINK" our approach to diversity management is focused on the environment THROUGH which people WORK!

Do the systems via which the institution's employees conduct their business "enable" them to make decisions and interact with stakeholders ("Professional Practice") based on Objective Criteria alone ?

Or are they free to apply anti-equality memes consciously or not, which aggravate against the institution's diversity management/equality goals?
